Lexi Adams is an Americana singer-songwriter and independent performing artist. She currently resides in Southwest Michigan. Listeners have said her voice “feels like coming home,” and “is an undeniably cozy, inviting and warm sound that captivates any audience.” Her rich vocal timbre, powerful yet gentle vocal techniques and the passion with which she performs will have any listener feeling as though she is singing directly to them. Lexi is living her dream playing music full time in the Midwest, writing songs, making records, meeting amazing people, and always collecting interesting stories along the way. A Belmont University alum, Lexi stayed in Nashville for 5 years after graduating: playing in writers’ rounds, church, tucked-away corners of coffee shops and hotel stores and working several dead-end jobs just trying get by. Lexi never imagined moving back to the Midwest (and to her home state of Michigan), was going to be the ticket to making a living as a musician. She knows her journey is different than most artists but she also knows her story isn’t over— that she is paving the way for other artists to step outside the box in pursuing the dream of music. While she plans to eventually return to Nashville, Lexi will continue pursuing music in Michigan until then.
